Two unreleased Oregon football jerseys in the “Generation O” line of uniforms were revealed earlier than expected on Friday.
A listing on Nike’s website may have accidentally leaked Oregon’s yellow and black jerseys, which feature black wings and diamond plating along the shoulders. A “Stomp out Cancer” logo appears on one of the sleeves. The jersey will sell for $130, according to the posting, which has since been taken down.
The leaked jersey, described as “Yellow Strike” on Nike’s posting, was discovered by fans scanning the apparel company’s website and was quickly shared on Twitter/X.
A source with knowledge of the team’s plans confirmed the authenticity of the jerseys and said Oregon will wear them against Michigan State on Oct. 4, and possibly one other time this season. The team’s color schedule encourages fans to wear yellow on Oct. 26 as the Ducks host Illinois.
The remainder of the yellow uniform combination, including the pants and helmet, has yet to be revealed.
UPDATE (3:18 p.m.): The same Twitter/X user shared a photo of a previously unreleased white Oregon jersey in a similar style. The white jersey did not appear on Nike’s website, but was previously posted and later taken down by the Duck Store.
The authenticity was confirmed by a source with knowledge of the team’s plans, who said Oregon is expected to wear them against Michigan on Nov. 2.
