We are excited to announce a renewed partnership with the fine folks and handicappers at 1/ST BET. Jeremy Plonk and Jeff Siegel will be sharing their expertise on a weekly basis to pass along some ponies that they like for races at various tracks around the country, including Turfway Park.
For this Thursday, February 27 article, Jeremy Plonk shares everything you need to know for the racing card for Turfway Park.
#10 She’s Fancy (5-2 morning line odds) was very sharp in victory in December in her first local start over the synthetic surface. Connections tried her way over her head on January 24 in the Likely Exchange Stakes, where she dueled and tired going around 2 turns for the first time. Back to a sprint and a much better class fit. Solid. Win bet #10. Daily Double 10-4 to next play.
#4 Temporarilyforever (5-1 morning line) could really benefit from wearing blinkers for the first time after back-to-back even efforts since arriving at Turfway. The winners of her last two races both came back to win their subsequent races, so this should be an easier spot by comparison. Win-place bet #4.
