The Triple Crown Tracker checks in with the horses who raced in the 2024 Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont, keeping up with what they have done since the classics.
2024 Kentucky Derby
Epic Ride made his second start since the Kentucky Derby in the Steel Valley Sprint at Mahoning Valley on Nov. 25. The son of Blame, who previously was third in the Perryville (G3) at Keeneland in October, was the third betting choice in the field of eight. He tracked from the middle of a very compact main field through much of the race, but lacked the kick he needed in the lane and finished fifth, 4 1/4 lengths behind Valentine Candy.
