Previously known as the Urbanrisers Hyderabad and owned by the Urbanrise Group, the franchise will now be rebranded as Toyam Hyderabad. The team is set to participate in the upcoming season of LLC, which begins on 20th September 2024.

In recent years, Toyam Sports Limited has organised events such as the Kumite 1 League, an international MMA fight night with Mike Tyson as the brand ambassador, and Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt, India’s first sports reality web series.
The company has also been involved in various T10 and T20 leagues worldwide. Additionally, Toyam Sports Limited owned a team in the World Tennis League and was the title sponsor for the India vs. Bangladesh ODI series.Commenting on the acquisition, Raman Raheja, Co-Founder of Legends League Cricket, said, “This franchise sale in Legends League Cricket is in sync with the industry movement. It’s the second franchise taken on this season, and it’s encouraging to see diverse industry leaders investing in the sports sector. I’m pleased to see one of our LLC franchises drawing similar value to other larger deals in IPL, which typically command 5.5x times multiples.”
