Also included are our predictions of which teams are likely to come out winners on the third weekend in October.
When: Thursday, 7 p.m.
Note: The No. 2-ranked Griffins showed out in a dominating win against previously undefeated Minden last week. Luke Delafield, Miller Warren and Kenny Thomas had multiple TDs and the same could happen this week against the Cowboys.
Watson’s prediction: North DeSoto 48, Southwood 0
When: Friday, 7 p.m.
Note: The Bucs will need a lot of Brandon Craig action to slow down the Vikings, who are making the Ben Taylor to Kenny Darby connection a regular occurrence. Vikes remain undefeated despite gutsy effort from the home team.
Watson’s prediction: Airline 54, Haughton 24

Watson’s prediction: Minden 24, BTW 20
When: Friday, 7 p.m.
Note: The Kyren Johnson and Jaxon Bentzler show continues this week for the Falcons against a Bearkat team willing to put up a good fight. The talents of Quan Scott give the ‘Kats a chance.
