MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) – TM Fitness in Marquette Township hosted its fifth annual Jingle Bell Workout.
The workout was circuit-based. There were 45 seconds allotted to each station so participants worked their entire body.
Around 20 people participated in the Jingle Bell Workout. They dressed for the holidays in Christmas sweaters and themed workout wear.
TM Fitness owner Travis Alexander says working out in the morning helps prepare people for the holiday.
“So many people have family, friends in town so they want to work out,” Alexander said. “It’s a little bit – even though it’s so crazy with the holiday and the shopping – take a moment for yourself, which is so important, to get an hour in, work out in the morning and then the rest of the day is set for family and friends.”
Alexander said trainers love “kicking people’s butts”, and what better day to do it than on a holiday.
