Tiger Woods’ new golf league teed off to rave reviews Tuesday night. The next TGL match should be even bigger because it’s Tiger’s turn to play.
Woods has been a rarity on the golf course in recent years as he’s battled chronic injuries built up over the course of one of the most prestigious careers in the game. He played in just five PGA Tour events in 2024, making it through the weekend just once. It’s what makes his appearances with son Charlie Woods in the PNC Championship so special.
Can Tiger bring that old magic to his indoor, interactive golf league? TGL won’t require him to walk nearly as much — after all, the SoFi Center is in Palm Beach Gardens, not far from his home on Jupiter Island. Tuesday night’s debut broadcast showed he can still call his shots.
