Tenma, the Bob Baffert-trained filly who won the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante, fired a bullet Thursday morning at Santa Anita.

The daughter of Nyquist went four furlongs in 47.0 seconds, fastest of 24 at the distance.

After winning the Del Mar Debutante by a nose, Tenma was a well-beaten third in the Oak Leaf (G2) on Oct. 5 after brushing the gate. Thursday’s work was the second since that race and the first since she went five furlongs from the gate in 1:01 on Oct. 18.

Tenma was one of 10 graded-stakes winners with published works Thursday.

Locked (Gun Runner), a Grade 1 winner (2023 Breeders’ Futurity), worked four furlongs in 49.8 seconds at Belmont Park on Thursday morning. It was the 33rd fastest of 57 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won an allowance race going seven furlongs on the main track at Belmont at the Big A on Oct. 19 for trainer Todd Pletcher.

Stilleto Boy (Shackleford), a Grade 1 winner (2023 Santa Anita Handicap), worked five furlongs in 1:00.8 at Turfway Park on Thursday morning. It was the second fastest of 12 works at the distance. His previous work was 13 days ago going five furlongs at Turfway Park. In his last start he placed seventh in the Lukas Classic (G2) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Churchill Downs on Sept. 28 for trainer Ed Moger Jr.
