Sugar Fish worked Thursday for the first time since her fifth-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff.

Trained by Jeff Mullins, the 3-year-old Accelerate filly has won two graded stakes this year, the Summertime Oaks (G2) and the Zenyatta (G2).

She went four furlongs in 49.8 seconds at Santa Anita on Thursday, 27th fastest of 37 at the distance.

Also working Thursday was Musical Mischief, winner of the Locust Grove (G2) last out and entered in the Falls City (G3) on Thanksgiving day. The Into Mischief filly, trained by Michael McCarthy, breezed four furlongs in 47.8 seconds at Churchill Downs, third fastest of 50 at the distance.

There were 15 graded-stakes winners with published works Thursday.

Dicey Mo Chara (Adaay), a Grade 2 winner (2022 San Gabriel), worked four furlongs in 49.2 seconds at Santa Anita on Thursday morning. It was the 22nd fastest of 37 works at the distance. Poolside With Slim (Churchill), a Grade 2 winner (2024 Valley View), worked four furlongs in 48.6 seconds at Keeneland on Thursday morning. It was the second fastest of 13 works at the distance.
