Yahoo Fantasy contributor Sal Vetri offers his three findings that will lead managers to success in Week 9 including the sketchy spot, best spot and pickup and play of the week.
Here are three key findings that will help you in your week nine fantasy football matchup starting with finding number one the best spot of the week and this is for the commanders running back, Brian Robinson.
Look Robinson has been great for Fantasy managers this year scoring at least 10 Fantasy points in six out of his seven games.
He’s even had good performances while playing through injury this year.
He’s someone that you’ve been able to rely on all season long and on the season, his role has been great.
He’s averaging over 16 opportunities per game and ranks top 10 in red zone touches on the year and this week his success should continue against a division rival and the Giants who allow the most rushing yards per play this season, New York just allowed 100 and 31 total yards to Naji Harris last week.
You can start Robinson with confidence in week nine.
Now finding number two is the sketchy spot of the week and this is for the Chargers running back, Jk Dobbins Dobbins has now failed to top 60 rushing yards in four out of his last five starts and he continues to struggle to break tackles and explosive runs.
According to player Profiler Dobbins now ranks 52nd in broken tackle rate this year and just 33rd amongst all running backs and yards per touch.
His efficiency has fallen off of a cliff since week two and this recent stretch of poor play may only continue in week nine when he takes on the Browns who Pff has as the number one run defense in the league.
This is a sketchy spot for Dobbins who might be a touchdown or bust candidate this week.
If you have a better option on your bench, I’d consider starting them instead.
And finding three takes us to the pick up and play of the week.
And that’s for the Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore, look, all the attention is going to Cedric Tillman in this wide receiver room and it’s justifiably so because he’s had 15 catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns the last two games without Amari Cooper.
But Tillman’s great usage is allowing Elijah Moore to fly under the radar because last week in week eight, his first game with Jameis Winston.
Elijah Moore earned a 30% target share that led the team and it translated to an eight catch day for 85 a strong performance for Elijah Moore who’s shown the ability to produce when given a capable quarterback.
And this week Moore gets to take on the Chargers who just allowed over 100 yards to Chris Olave last week when his quarterbacks were Spencer Rattler and Jay Ker.
So you can pick up and play Elijah Moore this week who’s available in the far majority of Yahoo leagues.
Now, these have been the three key findings that will help you in your week nine fantasy football matchup.
All you have to do now is take all this information, put it in your brain and smack around your competition with it.
