The Augustine family, owners of Vineyard Golf at White Lake, are proud to announce that the Third Annual Agricultural Scholarship Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 28.
The format will be 4-person captain’s choice. The cost will be $500 a team and $125 per person. Two flights are scheduled with a possible third flight, depending on the number of entries received.
Cash prizes will be given in each flight. First place will pay $1,000, second place will pay $750 and third place will pay $500. Prizes for closest to the pin on all par 3s and men’s and women’s longest drives. The lucky golfer who makes a hole-in-one will win a boat sponsored by White Lake Marina. There will be a 50/50 drawing and other raffles.
The agenda will have golf registration and light breakfast provided by The Upper Deck from 9 a.m. until
9:45 a.m. Shotgun start will be 10 a.m. Awards and prizes will be given at the completion of play. Lunch will be provided by The Upper Deck.
Rain date for the event is October 5.
Last year’s scholarship winners were Kensley Lamb from Clinton High School and Jordan Hester from
West Bladen High School.
