The Swing Bays, a golf and fitness franchise founded in 2022 by PGA professional Dustin Miller and Brenna Miller to offer indoor golf improvement services, announced its expansion into the North Carolina market. Its flagship location is in Parker, Colorado, just outside of Denver.
The Millers founded the Swing Bays with the goal of being a premier destination for golf simulators, PGA professional instruction, TPI-certified fitness, and expert club fittings and repairs. It uses a technology-forward model to deliver on its promise and offers exclusive memberships to help players find a sense of community.
The expansions come on the heels of evolving demographics in the golf industry; some 75% of new golfers are introduced to the sport via indoor facilities.
The North Carolina locations will be built in the Raleigh-Durham metropolitan area, with the first location expected to open in Q4 of 2025. One of the benefits of the Swing Bays is its streamlined operations model: there is a bar but no kitchen, which simplifies the building process over similar golf entertainment concepts.
“This expansion represents a pivotal moment for The Swing Bays as we achieve true national brand status,” Miller said. “Our success in attracting multi-unit franchisees validates our business model and strong unit economics. It’s been our dream to bring The Swing Bays to more regions and North Carolina already has an active golf community that we’re excited to tap into.”
