Xiaomi Smart Band 9 series of fitness trackers including Standard, NFC and Ceramic Special Edition models have received HyperOS 1.2.183 update in China.
The update adds an automatic pause function for cyclists that stops tracking when stopped, and a new Power Challenge mini-game. It also introduces paid trials of watch faces and customisable vibrations for notifications. Xiaomi has fixed various known issues while improving the overall user experience.
The Smart Band 9 series, launched in July 2024, features a sleek design with a metal frame and a variety of wristbands. The device features a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with 1200 nits brightness and 60Hz refresh rate. The bracelet supports over 200 customisable watch faces and an Always-on Display mode. It offers advanced health tracking features including heart rate, oxygen, stress, sleep and women’s health monitoring. The device supports Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and water resistance up to 5 ATM. The 233mAh battery provides up to 21 days of use.
