While Amazon’s October Prime Day deals are happening now, you won’t want to miss Walmart’s holiday shopping event as it has one major advantage: Walmart allows you to shop for deals without a pricey membership. All you have to do is visit the site and start shopping.

These Walmart deals span every tech item you can think of and lots more, making this the perfect opportunity to purchase something you have been eyeing, or get a head start on your holiday shopping.
The first 12 hours of this deal event are open to Walmart+ members only, but at 12 p.m. ET today, the sale opens to everyone. If you do want to join Walmart+, it’s $98 for the year, and comes with perks like free grocery delivery, free shipping with no order minimum, Parmount+ streaming, and more. Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Headphone for $50 (save $130): ZDNET’s headphone reviewer Jada Jones deemed the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Headphones as “audiophile approved” with “unrivaled sound quality, a marathon battery, and all-day comfort.” Despite only being released six months ago, they are already on sale, which is a pretty good offer.
Walmart’s October holiday deal event begins on Oct. 8 at 12 a.m. ET for Walmart+ members and Oct. 8 at 12 p.m. ET for everyone. The deals event ends six days later, on Oct. 13. The event’s date was likely strategically planned to happen at the same time as Amazon Prime Day.
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, popularly known as October Prime Day, is a two-day sales event for Prime members. This year, sales are live from Tuesday, Oct. 8, through Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Walmart does not price match competitor’s online or in-store prices, including Amazon. However, we have found that many Amazon Prime Day deals can be found on Walmart. The major difference is that at Walmart, you do not need a Walmart+ subscription to shop the deals, whereas on Amazon, you need an Amazon Prime subscription.
