Amazon confirmed that Prime Big Deal Days 2024 will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Wednesday, Oct. 9. It follows the e-commerce giant’s tradition of running its second two-day sale event of the year in the fall after Prime Day in July.

Do You Need to Be a Prime Member to Shop Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?

In short, yes. As the name suggests, Prime Big Deal Days is Amazon’s deal event exclusively for Prime members, so you’ll want to sign up for a membership before you start shopping. The good news: Amazon has a 30-day free trial so you can test out a subscription before you commit. Subscriptions auto-renew at $14.99 per month or $139 per year.

If you’re a student between the ages of 18 to 24, you can try Prime Student free for six months; after that, pay only $7.49 monthly or $69 annually.

While some deals will be made available to all Amazon shoppers, the best Prime Big Deal Days discounts are reserved for Prime members.
