I haven’t written a single official Marquette women’s basketball season preview article, and yet somehow — mostly because of the coaching change! — there are already TWENTY-EIGHT articles in this 2024-25 season preview hub.

Wow!

Yep, Marquette women’s basketball has a new head coach this season. Megan Duffy is off at Virginia Tech now, and Athletic Director Bill Scholl hired former Terri Mitchell assistant Cara Consuegra away from Charlotte to replace Duffy. As such, we’ve got A LOT of roster turnover to discuss as Consuegra brought in a bunch of transfers to get her squad up to competition level. There’s also already the Summer Check-In series for the entire rest of the Big East in there, and MU just recently dropped the non-conference schedule as well.

• Television assignments, which may or may not be part of the Big East schedule announcement

• Three different roster breakdown articles, as we’re going to have to break up the newcomers into at least two parts
