Texas high school football playoff scores: Result and times for UIL state finals

The Texas high school football state championships are underway.

Westlake and Vandegrift will be vying for a state title, but plenty of other high school teams are competing for the ultimate goal at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STATE FINALS TICKETS

The defending state champions in each class are Duncanville (Class 6A Division I), DeSoto (Class 6A Division II); Aledo (Class 5A Division I), Port Neches-Grove (Class 5A Division II); Anna (Class 4A Division I), Gilmer (Class 4A Division II); Malakoff (3A Division I), Gunter (3A Division II); Timpson (2A Division I), Albany (2A Division II); Gordon (Class 1A Division I) and Benjamin (Class 1A Division II).

Most of those teams have been eliminated from a shot at a repeat. Here are the schools still competing and the scores of the completed games.

North Crowley (15-0) vs. Austin Westlake (14-1), 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium

Southlake Carroll (15-0) vs. Austin Vandegrift (14-1), 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium

Class 5A Division I

Highland Park (14-1) vs. Spring Branch Smithson Valley (13-2), 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium

Class 5A Division II

South Oak Cliff (13-2) vs. Richmond Randle (15-0), 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium

Class 4A Division I

Celina (15-0) vs. Kilgore (13-2), 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium

Class 4A Division II

Carthage (14-1) vs. Waco La Vega (12-3), 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium
