TERRY Bradshaw is trying his hand at a new sport outside of his NFL duties.
Terry Bradshaw has spent time as a farmer in his NFL retirement, but now he is taking it up a notch.
While opening Fox NFL Sunday for Week 9, Bradshaw announced that he is teaming up with Curt Menefee to get into horse racing.
“Curt and I are fired up because we’ve formed Pregame Stables,” Bradshaw said.
“We are now in the thoroughbred business… we are jacked up!
“Kentucky Derby bound baby.”
Bradshaw has spent time in thoroughbred racing in the past, but took a hiatus from the sport.
However, he was spotted in Lexington, Kentucky in September at a thoroughbred sale.
“My wife and I want to have a little more fun,” Bradshaw told Blood Horse.
“We do hunters, jumpers, pleasure, halter, and we’re in the breeding business. But I said, ‘Let’s get back in.
“We’re going to get one running horse either here or somewhere, and we’ll get back in.”
During that appearance, Bradshaw teased his partnership with Menefee but didn’t reveal his name yet.
“We’ll probably buy in,” Bradshaw said.
“There’s a little partnership thing we’re working on, but we’ll come back in.”
As he said on Fox NFL Sunday, Bradshaw wants to reach the top step in horse racing.
However, he said nothing will compare to winning the Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“There’s nothing like the Super Bowl,” Bradshaw said.

“You have to get lucky.”
Bradshaw hasn’t announced when fans could see one of his horses start running races.
For now, it appears he is still in the process of acquiring a steed to compete for him.
