Ukrainian Elina Svitolina won against American Shelby Rogers 6-0, 6-2 to move into the second round of the Toronto Masters at the Aviva Centre on Tuesday evening.
Svitolina, ranked No 34, will face Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 11 seed, next.
