KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Following a program-record-tying season in 2024, Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Danny White announced a contract extension for Tennessee men’s golf head coach Brennan Webb.
Last season, Webb led the Volunteers to great heights, posting a three-win season and capturing Tennessee’s first NCAA Championships top 10 finish since 1981.
“Brennan has shown exceptional leadership in elevating our men’s golf program to national prominence,” White said. “We are thrilled to secure his long-term commitment on Rocky Top as we strive to become the best in the nation!”
On Tuesday, White announced Webb’s contract had been extended through the 2028-29 season.
“There is a reason this is THE EVERYTHING SCHOOL and the recent success of the entire athletic department is not an accident,” Webb said. “I am so thankful for the opportunity to continue on our path of building the best golf program in the country.”
Throughout his tenure on Rocky Top, Webb has guided the Vols to 11 team tournament titles, which places him third in program history for tournament wins.
The Vols boast a 632-137-10 overall record during Webb’s six seasons in Knoxville, placing him third all-time in head-to-head career wins in program history.
