No. 11 Tennessee football will host No. 7 Alabama on Saturday afternoon inside of Neyland Stadium in the 107th edition of the Third Saturday in October. The arch-rivals are meeting as top 20 teams for the 22nd time

Injured senior linebacker Keenan Pili, senior wide receiver Bru McCoy, senior center Cooper Mays, senior defensive lineman Omari Thomas and senior long-snapper Matthew Salansky will serve as Tennessee five captains on Saturday against Alabama, UT announced on its social media accounts Friday.

Salansky has now been a captain for Tennessee in all seven of its games this season. It will be the fifth time for Pili, the fourth time for Thomas and Mays, and the second time for McCoy.

Kickoff between the Vols (5-1, 2-1 SEC) and Crimson Tide (5-1, 2-1 SEC) is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. Sean McDonough (play-by-play), former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy (analyst) and Molly McGrath (sideline) will have the call on ABC.

The Volunteers are looking to pick up back-to-back home wins over the Tide for the first time since 2004 and 2006. The Vols picked up their second straight home win over Florida this past weekend for the first time since 1990 and 1992.

This is the second of four straight games for Tennessee in Neyland Stadium. UT has won four in a row at home and is 16-1 in Neyland since the start of the 2022 season. It can also secure bowl eligibility with a win for a fourth straight season for the first time since 2001-04.
