The PGA Tour’s 2025 American Express golf tournament promises a week of world-class golf, top-tier entertainment, and unforgettable fan experiences. “We’re thrilled for this year with so many exciting new additions,” says Pat McCabe, the event’s executive director. Fans can expect a vibrant entertainment lineup, exclusive hospitality offerings, and delicious local food and drinks, including craft beers from Spotlight 29 Casino and bites from TKB Bakery & Deli and Sumo Dog. After a day of golfing action, the excitement continues with concerts from Little Big Town on Friday and Journey on Saturday.
Part of the PGA Tour’s West Coast swing, the tournament features some of the sport’s best golfers, who compete on three La Quinta courses. The highlight will be the Stadium Course, which underwent a restoration over the summer. “All of the greens are brand new, the bunkers are brand new, the areas adjacent to the green complexes are brand new,” McCabe shares. “People are saying great things about it, and we’re excited for the players to see it for themselves.” The Stadium Course will also be home to all the fan amenities, ensuring an immersive experience for spectators.
A new 4,000-square-foot merchandise shop features exclusive collaborations with Malbon and other brands. Tickets include golf and concert access, and American Express cardholders get 20 percent off. The tournament continues its tradition of giving back, having raised over $6 million for local charities including FIND Food Bank and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
