Super Bowl Golf Tournament At Land ‘O Lakes –
Land ‘O Lakes Golf Club has scheduled a Super Bowl scramble tournament February 8, the day before the National Football League’s championship game.
The two-player Texas scramble will have a noon shotgun start. To register, call the club at 910-642-5757. The course is located at 2950 Bill Hooks Road, Whiteville.
• Hotdog lunch with chips and drinks served before play.
• $40 for Members, $50 for Guests
• All teams will be flighted after play.
• Squares for the Super Bowl score pool for $5 each will be sold.
• Sign-up Deadline: Wednesday, February 5 at 5 p.m.
• Limited to first 50 teams to sign up.
On the football field, the Super Bowl participants will be decided Sunday, January 26 with conference championship games. Philadelphia hosts Washington in the NFC and Buffalo visits Kansas City in the AFC. Winners will meet February 9 in New Orleans.
