Saquon Barkley won the Super Bowl on Sunday. By Tuesday, he was thinking about the golf course.
The Philadelphia Eagles superstar running back had a stellar season, helping the Eagles top the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. In the game, he rushed 25 times for 57 yards and caught six passes for 40 yards.
On Tuesday night, Barkley took to social media to share one of his offseason goals: to break 80 on the golf course.
Quickly after Barkley tweeted his goal, two-time U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau chimed in, offering to help the first-team All-Pro. DeChambeau pitched to let Barkley join a “Break 50” video with him, and Barkley quickly responded.
“Just say the word!! I’m kinda rusty.. was a little busy,” Barkley responded.
DeChambeau has joined forces with a wide variety of people for his Break 50 series, from the President to other YouTube stars and athletes. Now he could have a Super Bowl champ and the NFL’s single-season rushing record holder on while offering a lesson or two.
