DK Metcalf wants out of Seattle.
The star Seattle Seahawks wide receiver has requested a trade, FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz reported Tuesday. Seattle has granted Metcalf’s wish to explore other options, NFL Media reported.
Teams have inquired the Seahawks about a possible deal for Metcalf in the early stages of the offseason, with the likelihood of a trade “heating up” in recent months, Schultz added.
Metcalf, 27, had 66 receptions for 992 yards and five touchdowns in 2024. The two-time Pro Bowler has recorded at least 900 receiving yards in each of his first six seasons in the league.
Metcalf has one year and $18 million remaining on his current deal.
This is a developing story.
