Wyoming High School Golf
Star Valley’s Jordyn Horsley had an incredible senior season in golf this past fall as she won the 4A State Championship by a whopping 10 strokes over Sheridan’s Shelbi Gardner. Horsley will be taking his skills to the next level, joining the golf program at Metro State in Denver.
At the 2024 4A State Championship Tournament in Afton, Horsley shot 72 in the first round and 76 in the 2nd and her 148 total was the best of the best for the girls state champs in the 3 classifications. During the regular season, she won a pair of tournaments and is the first Star Valley girls golfer in 18 years to win an individual state title.
Horsley has displayed exponential improvement in her high school career as she took 18th place in the 3A State Tournament in 2021 and the 4A State Tournament in 2022. She placed 9th in her junior season at State and he scoring average in 2024 was 79.7
Metro State in Denver is a Division II institution that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
