An Evansville bar is offering jobs to employees of two fire-damaged restaurants. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Sportsman’s Bar and Grill is inviting employees of Madeline’s and Sauced to apply for temporary jobs at the bar on W. Franklin St.
Both Sauced and Madeline’s were damaged by separate fire last week.
On its Facebook page, Sportsman’s notes that when it was damaged by fire in 2017, several local businesses invited the staff to join them for temporary jobs.
Sportsman’s says it wants to “pay it forward” and invites anyone from the damaged restaurants who needs a part time job to contact Chris Reitz at Sportsman’s.
Displaced job seekers can contact Reitz at sportmansbilliards@gmail.com or stop by and apply in-person.
