Michigan State basketball heads into the weekend as a top four seed despite a recent losing skid, according to ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.
Lunardi released an updated batch of “Bracketology” on Friday, and he still has Michigan State listed as a No. 4 seed. The Spartans were also a No. 4 seed in his latest bracket update earlier this week.
Michigan State is projected to face No. 13 seed Arkansas State in a South Region first round matchup.
Michigan State hosts Oregon on Saturday afternoon, looking to snap a two-game losing streak. The Spartans are 18-4 overall and 9-2 in Big Ten play this season.
Lunardi has 10 teams from the Big Ten in his latest bracket projection. Purdue is the highest seeded team from the league as a No. 2 seed.
