Southwest Airlines has slashed many of its fares through early 2025, and travelers can book one-way tickets starting at $46.

The airline’s “Wanna Get Away” sale ends on Thursday, August 15, at 11:59 p.m. PT and is available for travel through early February. Flights within the continental U.S. can be booked between Aug. 27 and Feb. 12, 2025, while flights to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations can be booked between Aug. 27 and Feb. 10, 2025. However, there are quite a few blackout dates for this promotion: 

• Continental U.S. flights: Nov. 26 to 27
• Intra-island Hawaii flights: Sept. 2, Nov. 28, Dec. 2, and Dec. 18 to Jan. 7
• Flights to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations: Aug. 29 to Sep. 3, Nov. 21 to 25, Dec. 18 to Jan. 7
• Flights from Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations: Aug. 29 to Sep. 3, Nov. 29 to Dec. 3, Dec. 18 to Jan. 7
• Orange County travel excluded from the sale

No promo code is required to unlock the low fares, though a 21-day advance purchase is required. Travel + Leisure found many eligible flights as part of this sale, both in cash and Rapid Rewards points:

• Nashville (BNA) to/from New York (LGA): $46 or 2,385 points
• Minneapolis (MSP) to/from Chicago (MDW): $47 or 2,462 points 
• Atlanta (ATL) to/from Orlando (MCO): $49 or 2,093 points
• Denver (DEN) to/from Salt Lake City (SLC): $49 or 2,617 points
• Honolulu (HNL) to/from Lihue (LIH): $49 or 2,935 points

All of these sale fares are available on Southwest’s website, though the airline just started publishing fares on Kayak, the popular airfare comparison site. The development comes just a few months after Southwest began displaying tickets on Google Flights and Chase Travel, giving travelers more options than ever to book airfare.
