Southern Football releases 2025 home schedule
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Southern University football announced their home opponents for next season along with the dates.
After the MEAC/SWAC Challenge against North Carolina Central, the Jaguars will play Alabama State on September 6th for the home opener.
This will serve as the Pete Richardson Classic and will count as non-conference. ASU will make their first trip to A.W. Mumford Stadium since 2016.
On September 27th, Jackson State comes to Baton Rouge for the Boombox Classic.
Southern’s homecoming is scheduled for October 18th. The Jags will play Prairie View A&M.
The following week, October 25th, Florida A&M is at Mumford. Southern wraps up the home slate against Texas Southern on November 15th.
The full schedule and kickoff times will be announced on a later date.
