South Carolina’s Repeat Tour begins in about a month, on November 4 in Las Vegas. Throughout October, GamecockCentral will profile each member of the team and how she is expected to contribute this season. Today we look at the big shot specialist, Bree Hall.

Player profile
After a slow start last season, Hall emerged as a prototypical three-and-D wing. She typically guarded the other team’s best perimeter player, knocked down threes to space the floor, and hit midrange jumpers.

Preseason assessment
Last season was Hall’s first playing major minutes and it took her a few weeks to settle into her role. She didn’t really hit her stride until the Tobacco Road trip at the end of November. That’s when she became the steady player everyone expected her to be. Now, Dawn Staley wants to see Hall become a more vocal leader.
“Breezy has got to step up into that role a little bit,” Staley said in September.
Burning question: Can Hall show enough to get selected in the WNBA Draft?
It was really hard to find a burning question for Hall. It feels like she is who she is at this point, and she is a very productive, reliable player. It would be nice if she could do more off the dribble, and she doesn’t create a lot for others. But if Kate Martin can get drafted, why can’t Breezy? She needs to keep doing what got her here.
