No. 2 South Carolina women’s basketball is set to host unranked Texas A&M for some Thursday night SEC action.

South Carolina (14-1) has continued its recent stretch of dominance, securing the program’s ninth straight win with a dominant 95-68 victory over Mississippi State. That victory came at a cost, though; the team announced Tuesday that forward Ashlyn Watkins will miss the rest of the season after tearing her ACL against the Bulldogs. 

The Aggies (8-6) dropped their first SEC game to No. 16 Tennessee on Jan. 2, but bounced back with a 60-58 upset win over then-No. 25 Ole Miss Sunday. That victory gave Texas A&M its seventh win at home. However, the Aggies enter this game still in search of their first win on the road this season.
