The sneaker and streetwear retailer Snipes has signed a lease for 6,854 square feet at the Throggs Neck Shopping Center.
The retailer will soon bring its vast collection of stylish jerseys, track jackets, shorts, t-shirts and more to the Throggs Neck area.
A representative for Simone Development Companies, which owns the shopping center, said that Snipes will add to the quality and shopping experience of the mall.
“Snipes, with 750 locations across the U.S. and in Europe, is a welcome addition to this thriving retail development,” Simone Development Companies Vice President of Leasing Josh Gopan said. “The Throggs Neck Shopping Center offers an easy one-stop shopping experience and continues to be a sought-after location for top national, regional and local retailers.”
Other notable tenants at the shopping center include Target, TJ Maxx, Petco, Navaderm, Metro Optics, Skechers, Mattress Firm, Applebee’s, Chipotle, Cap’t Loui Seafood Boil, Five Guys, Charleys Philly Steaks, Starbucks and Sarku Japan, among others.
Originally built in 2010, the Throggs Neck Shopping Center, located at 815 Hutchinson River Pkwy., yields 300,000 square feet of space. The shopping center also has 625 secure free parking spots.
There are still two retail spaces available for leasing, measuring in at 950 square feet and 3,906 square feet, respectively.
