The tight end position in fantasy football is very, very limited in 2024, but it gets harder when a player like David Njoku is limited in practice during a short week.

The good news is that the Cleveland Browns tight end is off the injury report, so it isn’t a huge concern that he was limited, but there’s also the Steelers’ defense and maybe some rain to contend with.

So: should you start Njoku this week?

My take is this: game script will probably mean the Browns will need to move the ball at some point against the Steelers and that will mean Njoku will see some work. Given the alternatives — do you want, say, Will Dissly in your lineup instead? — I think you roll with Njoku for sure.
