SPRINGFIELD, PA — A shooting occurred at a busy Delaware County shopping center over the weekend, police said. One person was reportedly hurt in the incident.
The shooting happened at about 4 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Springfield Shopping Center, according to Springfield Police.
The Delaware County Daily Times reports a 27-year-old man was shot in the back behind Target in the shopping center and the shooter drove off in a black minivan

Police did, however, say there was no active threat to the public.
