In a remarkable display of skill and teamwork, the Shippensburg Greyhound Golf team concluded their season by clinching the Colonial Division title. At the final match, Shippensburg posted a team score of 323, outpacing the runner-up by 11 strokes. This victory at the divisional match brought their impressive seasonal tally to 34 wins against 8 losses, setting a new school record.
The team’s consistent performance was highlighted by the achievement of all four scoring players ranking in the top 15 of the tournament. Ben Horgos led the team with a commendable second-place finish, carding a 76, four strokes over par. Kaydee Beckenbaugh followed closely, securing sixth place with an 80, while Brayden Mitchell tied for seventh with an 82. Jack Johnson rounded out the team’s top performers by tying for thirteenth with a score of 85.
