We’re just about at the halfway point of the NBA season!
As we approach the midpoint of the regular season, both the race for the NBA MVP and the NBA title are still very much up for grabs.
At this moment in time, the MVP race has two frontrunners at the head of the pack – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic. Jokic has won the award three of the past four seasons, and Gilgeous-Alexander came close last season before ultimately coming up just short. Will one of those two take home the award or will someone from back in the pack like Giannis Antetokounmpo or Jayson Tatum narrow the gap?
Switching gears to the NBA Title odds, it’s last year’s champion the Boston Celtics leading the way with the Oklahoma City Thunder not far behind. Having said that, the Cleveland Cavaliers pace the NBA with the league’s best record, and teams like the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets can’t be written off either.
Let’s take a look at some NBA futures markets.
