VALDOSTA – The Southern Georgia Black Chambers announces registration is open for the Golf Tournament at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
The Southern Georgia Black Chambers (SGBC) is proud to announce its upcoming annual Golf Tournament, scheduled for Thursday, September 19th, 2024, at the prestigious Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. The event aims to bring together community members and businesses for a day of friendly competition and networking, all while supporting the SGBC’s mission to empower underserved small businesses and promote economic growth in the region.
The tournament will kick-off at 9:00 am and will follow a four-person scramble format, encouraging golfers of all skill levels to participate. Teams will have the opportunity to compete for cash prizes and enjoy the scenic beauty of Kinderlou Forest’s renowned golf course. Beyond the competition, the event offers a platform for valuable connections and collaborations among local professionals and community leaders.
“We’re excited to once again host our annual Golf Tournament and bring together individuals who share a passion for golf and opportunities to foster community engagement,” said Dee Dunbar, VP of Sponsorships and Golf Committee Chair. “This event is a fundraiser for the SGBC, allowing us to continue providing essential resources and support to Black-owned businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in Southern Georgia.”
