Kids often inherit the characteristics from their parents. The case of Serena Williams is no exception as tennis runs deep into her family. The American legend can often be seen sharing adorable glimpses with her husband and daughters. Recently, she shared a cute video of her younger daughter, Adira, offering her mother a helping hand on the court. The video might break the internet.
Back in August last year, Williams gave birth to her second child, Adira. Despite being just over a year old, Adira is already taking to the tennis court. In the video shared by Serena, she can be seen having a light tennis session, more than 2 years after she bid adieu to the sport as a professional player. In the end of the session, the mother-daughter duo enjoyed a candid moment on the court.
As Williams was wrapping the session, she put the tennis balls back into the basket. However, Adira spotted one ball lying on the court and picked it up. Instead of putting it into the basket, she threw the ball mischievously around, even though her intent was right to take the ball off the court. The American legend captured the adorable moment which she later shared via a reel on her official Instagram handle, as she wrote, “When’s too early? @adiraohanian.” Williams was in awe of her daughter being a mini-helper despite being just 1-year-old.

Williams has admitted in the past how Adira is energetic and she always keeps her on her toes. “My life is very different now. Instead of chasing balls, I’m chasing #Adira and helping #Olympia with tennis lessons and cooking. (And, all this is in-between Venture Capital calls),” Serena Williams once admitted. Well, it was no surprise to see Adira running here and there and turning into a mischievous mini-helper to her mother on the court.
