We already know that Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams‘ eldest daughter, Olympia, is a little sports fanatic like her mom, enjoying golf and many more sports. However, she won’t enter into the professional sports world until this happens, and her parents are pretty adamant about it.
While speaking at ADWEEK’s Brandweek conference via People, Ohanian answered a question from the crowd, which asked if Olympia will be a pro sports star like her mom.

“We were watching the final of the World Cup in 2019 from our rented house in Wimbledon,” he recalled. “Olympia was running around in her Alex Morgan jersey, and I said, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if she played on a national team one day?’”
He added, “And Serena was like, ‘Not until they pay her what she’s worth.’ And I was like, ‘Touché, okay, challenge accepted.’ And that’s what motivated me to buy a team and help be a part of the change.”
(Back in July 2020, Williams and Ohanian purchased a stake in the National Women’s Soccer League Angel City Football Club, and also did o in Olympia’s name, making her the youngest person to co-own a professional sports team.)
For those who don’t know, Williams met Ohanian back in 2015, and the two married in 2017 in New Orleans. Later that same year, Williams gave birth to their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr (better known as Olympia), born on Sept 2017, and later, another daughter named Adira River, born in Aug 2023.
“The new baby is amazing. I have to say I am obsessed with her. Oh my gosh, she’s so yummy. She’s like the best, I love her,” Williams said via People, revealing that Olympia always wanted a little sister. “That’s one thing Olympia would always say – I want a sister.”
