Seacoast Friday Roundup: STA basketball teams remain unbeaten, more scores

DOVER – Sophomore Cole McClure scored all of his 17 points in the first half and the St. Thomas Aquinas boys basketball team rolled to a 63-25 win over Inter-Lakes Friday in a Division III contest.

St. Thomas is now 4-0 on the season.

“It was fun to see a total team effort tonight after the holiday break,” St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Dave Morissette said.

Finley De Tolla added 15 points for the Saints, while George Sorber had seven, all in the fourth quarter.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Exeter 58

Concord 38

EXETER – Nate McNeff scored a game-high 18 points, leading Exeter (3-1) to this Division I win. Tyler Ream added 11 points for the Blue Hawks, and Jack Thibodeau had nine.

Trinity 86

Dover 39

DOVER – Yavier Morales-Perez had nine points, and Owen Corringham had eight for Dover (2-2) in this Division I loss.

Windham 63

Spaulding 56

ROCHESTER – Kyran Jeanpierre had 20 points and Marcell Rose had 17 for Spaulding (1-3) in this Division I action. Jack Koutrobis led Windham with 17 points.

WOLFEBORO – Matthew Jernigan had 21 points and Owen Jacques had 12 for Oyster River (3-0) in this Division II win. Max Scopel added 11 points for the Bobcats.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

CONCORD – Lexy Rogers had 20 points and six steals as Exeter improved to 2-2 with this Division I win.

Karli Scherpf and Anna McGuinness both had 15 points for the Blue Hawks, while Emma Gillis had 10 points, and Jess Melick had six points, eight rebounds and five steals.

DURHAM – Vivian O’Quinn had 28 points and Olivia Anderson had 27 for Oyster River (3-1) in its Division II win. Wren Horne added 11 points for the Bobcats, while Jazzy Alvarez and Ashling Ferris both had seven.

MEREDITH – Emilie von der Lindon’s 18 points led three Saints in double figures in this Division III game. Genna Bolduc added 16 points for STA (4-0), while Emma Toriello had 15.

Sophomore Mallory Baker and Mattie Williams both added six points in the win.

SOMERSWORTH – Katelyn Lensky had six points and Lilly Doyon had five for Somersworth (0-5) in this Division III game. Cayla Gonzalez starred defensively for the Hilltoppers.

WINDHAM – Meagan Uraskevich’s seven points led Spaulding (0-4) in this Division I loss.
