Spirit Airlines has flights on sale to dozens of destinations starting at just $48 each way — but travelers will need to book by tonight to lock in these deals.
The sale, which ends tonight at 11:59 p.m. ET, is valid for nonstop travel between August 20 and November 20. Friday and Saturday flights are blacked out during this time period, and tickets must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
“Deals hotter than the weather,” the airline wrote about this promotion on its website. “Plus, if your plans change your ticket can too with no change or cancel fees!”
Travel + Leisure searched through the list and found the best one-way flight deals at the lowest $48 price point:
Members of the airline’s Spirit Saver$ Club — which charges a yearly fee and includes discounts on baggage, seat selection, and more — can snag even cheaper one-way tickets starting at just $20.
After a major policy change in May, Spirit no longer charges fees for ticket modifications made at least one hour before the scheduled departure time. While flight changes may incur a fare difference, travelers who cancel their flight will with a Spirit credit valid for 12 months.
The sale comes as the low-cost carrier announced a major shakeup to its fare classes just last week. After reporting a net loss of $192.9 million for Q2 2024, Spirit will roll out new fare classes on Friday, August 16. These ticketing bundles will include premium seats, carry-on bags, Wi-Fi, and other trip extras that have historically cost an additional fee, in order to make up for lost ancillary revenue from its low-cost operating model.
