Saquon Barkley keeps making case for NFL teams to pay player, not position
There are no fewer than 20 running backs who could finish the season as 1,000-yard rushers, with Saquon Barkley carrying the banner for an end to the devaluation of the position.

The Giants didn’t pay Barkley. The Titans didn’t pay Derrick Henry. Barkley will be dueling Henry on Sunday when the Eagles meet the Ravens. The Bengals didn’t pay Joe Mixon. The Raiders didn’t pay Josh Jacobs. The Packers didn’t pay Aaron Jones. The Cowboys didn’t pay Tony Pollard.
“There’s a lot of talented guys that hit free agency this year that shouldn’t have hit free agency,” MJD said.
