The Pirates repeated as Division 2 champions, winning at the 2024 Division 2 tournament Tuesday at Valley Oaks Golf Course in Visalia with a team score of 483, five strokes ahead of second-place Atascadero which finished at 488.

Cabrillo came in fourth at 522, and Lompoc was a stroke behind in fifth at 423. There were 10 scoring teams in the tournament.

Mackenzie Phelan led Santa Ynez to the team title with an 87. She finished tied for fifth individually with Halee Sager of Lompoc. Kenslee Martin of Cabrillo finished sixth at 93. All three will wait to see if they advanced to the sectional individual tournament.

Katherine Becerra and Sierra Freedman both carded a 95 for the Pirates. Addison West shot a 96, and Savannah Hudley rounded out the Santa Ynez scoring with a 110. Kacy Caplan also competed for the Pirates. Caplan shot a 112.
