KL Rahul and Sanju Samson, as per the PTI reports, find themselves out of the consideration with Rishabh Pant who has only played 1 ODI since his injury, coming back into contention and Dhruv Jurel who is yet to make his debut.

Rahul who scored 452 runs at the World Cup, interestingly, averages 54 at a strike rate of 95 for India while batting at number 5 in the ODIs, and only AB de Villiers with an average of 79 and strike rate of 109 has better numbers at 5 in ODI history with a minimum of 1000 runs.
Pant averages 33.5 in his 31 matches ODI career for his 871 runs while Samson averages 56.66 for his 510.
