Ex-Italy coach Roberto Mancini is reportedly in talks to take over managerial duties at Roma.
The Italian technician – fresh off a disappointing spell with the Saudi Arabian national team – is said to be Roma’s number one choice to replace Ivan Juric at the helm of the club.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin are already in contact with Mancini who is interested in the opportunity and would like a long-term contract.
The newspaper states that the two sides are negotiating a two-year contract with the option for a third year in case of positive results.
Mancini’s appointment would likely take place during the international break.
