The Jade Cricket Cafe on the Disney Treasure is a “Mulan”-inspired space offering various coffees, teas, and alcoholic beverages. We reviewed the cafe’s Lucky Cricket Latte and Ube-licious.
The Jade Cricket Cafe is on deck 5 of the Treasure, overlooking the Grand Hall. It’s surrounded by green flooring with gray blossoms. A golden moon gate inspired by Chinese architecture features pink plum blossoms.
The cafe’s hexagon shape is inspired by Chinese pavilions. Two white chairs with patterned backs are next to a circular table behind the moon gate. Jade green chairs are pulled up to the bar, which has a metallic front inspired by Mulan’s armor.
Another pair of white chairs and a small table are in the corner. The back wall features panels resembling windows that showcase pink blossoms floating from trees. The “Jade Cricket Cafe” signs resemble scrolls and feature Cri-Kee.
The cafe’s namesake is also depicted as part of a jade sculpture on the white counter. He’s relaxing in a warm cup of tea.
White lanterns hang above the bar. Behind the bar is a circular mirror.
Etched in the mirror is the quote, “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.”
The tablet menu is encased in a green pleather folder featuring golden tree and cloud designs. We just reviewed two of the specialty non-alcoholic “Matchmakers Favorites,” but the Jade Cricket offers a whole host of drink options. While most food and beverages aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship are included with the price of the voyage, specialty beverages like these come with an extra fee. This can be charged directly to your stateroom.

Matcha, White Chocolate, and Soft Whip Topping
Though this is a “latte,” it doesn’t actually have any coffee in it. It’s earthy, almost like drinking straight matcha powder. There’s a bit of sweetness from the white chocolate. It’s not great, we wouldn’t get it again.

Ube Condensed Milk, Coconut, Oat Milk, and Illy Espresso
This we love. It has a beautiful presentation with “Jade Cricket Cafe” on the drink thanks to a stencil. Both drinks came on pretty golden saucers. The drink itself is tremendous. We don’t get much coconut flavor but the ube and oat milk come through. The coffee is strong. There’s a bit of sweetness.

Each drink was served with a pre-packaged Nonni’s Bakery biscotti.
