After nearly two months off the air, Todd Schrupp reportedly
will return to his familiar roles as a host and handicapper at FanDuel TV this
week just as senior vice president Kevin Grigsby is preparing to leave his longtime
job as executive producer.
The Paulick Report first reported Schrupp’s expected
comeback from an absence that still has not been explained. Schrupp has not
commented publicly about it other than to post a veiled reference on his X
profile, which read, “Lyric: ‘The waiting is the hardest part, every day you
see one more card. You take it on faith, you take it to the heart.’ Tom Petty from
The Waiting.”
Grigsby, who began his career in the ’90s as a sports and
news producer at KTLA TV in Los Angeles, is leaving his current roles at
FanDuel TV but is staying on as a consultant, according to The Paulick
Report.
A spokesperson told The Paulick Report that FanDuel
would not comment on personnel matters such as this.
Schrupp and Grigsby have been with FanDuel TV since it was
launched in 1999 as TVG.
