Rip City Remix guard Isaac Nogues Gonzalez plans to submit paperwork this week to officially enter the 2025 NBA Draft, according to the Stein Line’s Jake Fischer (subscription required).
The 21-year-old, 6-foot-5 guard from Spain has established himself as one of the G League’s best defenders in his first season with the Remix. In 33 appearances with Rip City, Nogues Gonzalez has averaged 2.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.8 steals in 18.9 minutes per game. In December against the Santa Cruz Warriors, Nogues Gonzalez set a G League single-game record with 10 steals, while also recording 10 rebounds and seven assists.
“I can defend a lot of positions,” Nogues Gonzalez told Fischer. “Not only the point guard. Not only the best player. I can defend all 48 minutes of the game. I can give 100% of my energy on defense. This really helps any team.”
The Remix, the Portland Trail Blazers’ G League affiliate, selected Nogues Gonzalez with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NBA G League International Draft. Nogues Gonzalez has 11 games remaining with the Remix before they close out the regular season on March 29.
