Recap: OKC Blue drops 116-98 loss to Austin Spurs
The G League’s OKC Blue suffered a 116-98 loss to the Austin Spurs on Saturday. The road defeat dropped OKC’s record to 11-12 on the season.
After exchanging the lead to start, the Spurs held a 23-18 lead after the first quarter. The game’s tempo increased with a high-scoring second frame. Austin scored 32 points, while OKC had 31 points. The Spurs entered halftime with a slight 54-50 lead.
The second half was relatively drama-less. The Blue tried to make it interesting, but the Spurs kept their distance. Austin tallied 33 points in the third quarter, and OKC entered the fourth frame with an 87-78 deficit.
The Spurs led by as many as 19 points as the Blue only scored 20 points in the fourth quarter and never seriously threatened to mount a comeback.
The Blue shot 43% from the field and went 10-of-34 (29.4%) from 3. They shot 9-of-12 on free throws. They had 17 assists on 36 baskets. Four Blue players scored double-digit points.
Meanwhile, the Spurs shot 45% from the field and went 14-of-48 (29.2%) from 3. They shot 12-of-12 on free throws. They had 18 assists on 41 baskets. Four Spurs players scored double-digit points.

- David Duke Jr.: 29 points on 12-of-19 shooting, 2-of-7 from 3, five assists, four rebounds, four steals
- Jamaree Bouyea: 29 points on 9-of-16 shooting, 2-of-7 from 3, seven rebounds, three assists
- Harrison Ingram: 16 points on 5-of-17 shooting, 2-of-10 from 3, 16 rebounds, six assists, four steals
- Kyle Rode: 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting, 4-of-10 from 3, four rebounds
